2ND REVOLUTION - [VIDEO/ACTION FOR VIOLET CITY]
[[Today is a fairly pleasant day in Violet City, so Page has taken advantage of the good weather to head outside and train her Pokemon a little. She's found, however, that over the past few weeks she's developed a few questions that she can't seem to find good answers for, so she's decided to....well, ask the 'feed', as it were. It took her a little while to work up the courage and to remind herself that she's not a wanted criminal here, but even so, it's....well. Slightly uncomfortable, but if this is how people communicate in this place, she'd better get used to it.
She's standing in an area on the outskirts of the city, the rustic buildings of Violet City in the background. The camera is surprisingly steady, obviously being held by one of her larger Pokemon.]]
I was wondering if any of you would be able to help me with my query.
[[When she speaks, her eyes find the camera, but once she's finished she immediately looks to the side, obviously not that comfortable with the whole experience. She's used to giving speeches; rather good speeches! But she's also used to have a tangible audience, so the fact that all she has to focus on is...well, her Gear, is bemusing her somewhat. But she'll get used to it. She's gotten used to worse.]]
Do any of you have experience with raising one of these?

[[Almost on cue, an Eevee scampers up her body and sits on her shoulder, staring into the camera with serious eyes matching those of his trainer.]]
I've done a bit of research and found that he can evolve into one of seven different things; which did you choose? What was the reason? Was it worth it, or do you regret your choice? I've heard evolution is irreversible, so I want to make sure my decision is the right one.
[[Another slightly awkward look to the side, before she faces the camera once more and nods her head slightly.]]
I appreciate your time. Thank you.
[[With a look to the Pokemon holding the camera, the feed is cut.]]

Say hello to the guy with eleven Eeveelutions, all of whom are currently swarming around him where he sits on his very nice couch. Between two Umbreons, two Espeons, two Flareons, and one each of all the others including Eevee itself, it's practically a circus of relevant to your interests up in here.]
You might say I have some experience with them, yes. Though not entirely by choice.
[SO DRY.]
That said, I'd be happy to try to answer any questions you might have, based on my...ah, familiarity with them.

I suppose it depends on what other types you have in your team. Eevee is capable of evolving into a Fire-type, Water-type, Electric-type, Psychic-type, Dark-type, Grass-type, and Ice-Type. The majority of them can be obtained by using a stone on Eevee - those stones can be bought for a high price in Goldenrod. The other two - Espeon and Umbreon, the Psychic- and Dark-types - can only be obtained with a high enough friendship.
[Logan slouches in his chair a bit, tapping his fingers on the armrest of the chair he's sitting in as he thinks. After a moment, a Vulpix jumps up into his lap and makes herself at home. He seems rather uncomfortable with her presence, and finally picks her up and sets her back on the ground. She slinks off after a moment, clearly upset that her trainer still won't pick her up. Meanie.]
I don't know what types you already have on your team and I haven't raised an Eevee myself, so I'm afraid that's all the advice I can offer. I do hope you figure something out, Page.
One question for you: where did you get the Eevee?
[Because it has the potential to not suck unlike the rest of his Pokemon.]

["Vee?" And here's a baby Eevee jumping up onto Ryner's lap, because gosh, she heard her name, that means she's being talked about.]
Since it is permanent, I think it would be best to make sure they're happy with it, you know?

The elements of an Eevee's evolutions are dark, fire, psychic, water, electric, ice, and grass-- to be honest, I never chose what my Eevees would be. They chose for themselves what they wanted. For example, my Flareon chose the fire stone I presented to her, but her clutchmate, the Espeon, spurned all of the other stones I had in favor of evolving on his own. My first Eevee in fact evolved without any prompting from me, becoming an Umbreon.
I believe it's as much their decision as it is yours. You should try and see what your Eevee thinks first.

You're better off letting him decide. The Goldenrod Department store sells the stones they need to evolve, so taking him there may give you some idea of what he wants.

[ Mostly since.. well, Maria has two of them herself, but she never evolved either of them - maybe it wasn't really a conscious choice, but hearing something like this over the network still makes her think. And it makes her pout a little, since she's worrying whether she did something wrong or not here. ]

[...And then Riku just offended every Flareon owner ever.
And at the sound of some yapping in the background, he turns the camera towards his passing Jolteon and Umbreon. Back to Riku.]
Anyway, I went with Umbreon because I wanted a dark type, but I doubt Shade would've let me choose anything else. She's one of the most mean-spirited Pokémon I own, after all.
[Fortunately, he hasn't endured any bites.]
But Jolteon's fast and deadly, provided you can deal with their frail defenses and from what I've seen Vaporeon's practically a tank. Think it really just boils down to what types you're really looking for.

[FEED CUTS OFF we're not doing that today, ryoji. your absol won't let you.
he's back after a second, holding a squirming absol in his lap.]
Sorry, he's still really shy about it-- [HE IS NOT SHY GET THAT OUT OF YOUR HEAD YOU BASTARD] Anyway, Umbreon fits nicely with the rest of my Pokémon, I guess, since they're mostly ghost- and dark-types.
