2ND REVOLUTION - [VIDEO/ACTION FOR VIOLET CITY]
[[Today is a fairly pleasant day in Violet City, so Page has taken advantage of the good weather to head outside and train her Pokemon a little. She's found, however, that over the past few weeks she's developed a few questions that she can't seem to find good answers for, so she's decided to....well, ask the 'feed', as it were. It took her a little while to work up the courage and to remind herself that she's not a wanted criminal here, but even so, it's....well. Slightly uncomfortable, but if this is how people communicate in this place, she'd better get used to it.
She's standing in an area on the outskirts of the city, the rustic buildings of Violet City in the background. The camera is surprisingly steady, obviously being held by one of her larger Pokemon.]]
I was wondering if any of you would be able to help me with my query.
[[When she speaks, her eyes find the camera, but once she's finished she immediately looks to the side, obviously not that comfortable with the whole experience. She's used to giving speeches; rather good speeches! But she's also used to have a tangible audience, so the fact that all she has to focus on is...well, her Gear, is bemusing her somewhat. But she'll get used to it. She's gotten used to worse.]]
Do any of you have experience with raising one of these?

[[Almost on cue, an Eevee scampers up her body and sits on her shoulder, staring into the camera with serious eyes matching those of his trainer.]]
I've done a bit of research and found that he can evolve into one of seven different things; which did you choose? What was the reason? Was it worth it, or do you regret your choice? I've heard evolution is irreversible, so I want to make sure my decision is the right one.
[[Another slightly awkward look to the side, before she faces the camera once more and nods her head slightly.]]
I appreciate your time. Thank you.
[[With a look to the Pokemon holding the camera, the feed is cut.]]

...yeah, you're getting this early.
As it stands, however, you're just going to get a light laugh for your effort, Page.]
Nothing that should be taken as an insult, my girl - just an observation, nothing more.
why would she do that?]]
For your information, Reaver, I happen to be rather fond of this particular species. They've got the most flexible evolution path in existence, and it's fascinating to read about.
[[which totally wasn't a coincidence and something she discovered after she'd obtained the Pokemon
definitely
not]]
And I'm assuming you knew about that at the time of purchase?
[video] 1/2
.....I......
2/2
[[absolutely
no
idea]]
I wouldn't just buy it because I....found it cute, I....
[[.....why you gotta do this]]

[[At least, that's how she justifies the purchase to herself. Charlotte the Wartortle was different; she'd been able to spare the money and the Pokemon was worth every cent, what with all those moves she came knowing. A perfect weapon. Edgar didn't have anything. He was just....cute, and caught her eye. Was there really something wrong with that?
...well, when Reaver questioned her about it, there definintely was. What was it about the man that made her so damn defensive? Ugh.]]

Go on and enlighten me, then, since you're so determined.
no subject
A man like you could never understand. Trust me.

[[She's going to regret this, but fine.]]
I'm not used to having the money to spend on things that aren't completely essential, and I feel incredibly guilty when I make the mistake of...buying something non-essential. Does that help?
no subject
[However...]
All of that aside, there's a large difference between not understanding and not agreeing, and a larger difference still between not agreeing and not caring; while I see what you're saying in regards to essentials, it's not as though that thing you've purchased there will be completely useless.
...unless, that is, it had turned out to be one of the ones that's completely useless, as there are quite a few of those. Fortunate for you that it didn't, I suppose.
no subject
[[....let her just pull her Eevee down off her shoulder and...hold him a bit, alright. Definitely not cuddling, or anything like that.]]
...I shouldn't speak like that, anyway. Talking about my Pokemon like objects. It's not...it's not right.
[[....not that she's, uh
expecting you to understand/care about that, but details...]]
no subject
no subject
[[Not that she sounds bitter, or anything. What the hell is this place doing to her?
...alright now she's legitimately cuddling the damn Eevee
she didn't mean it, Edgar...]]
Try not to get too excited.

Unfortunately, when it comes to your query, about the only thing I can tell you is that several of the stones used to make the little beasts evolve are in Goldenrod City. There's some sort of disturbingly large store in the middle of town; if you manage to miss that somehow, you're a bit beyond any help others might be able to give. Wander around long enough in there and you'll find what you're looking for; if Barry can manage to navigate the place, I've no doubt you can.
no subject
[[....that's
...
my god, Reaver, that's actually useful]]
You do realise you've just given me legitimately helpful information, don't you? Are you sure you're not feeling ill?
no subject
no subject
[[help
what's happening]]
But perhaps I'll try to find a book of jokes in that store of yours. Keep you guessing.
[[make it stop]]
no subject
or just really, really wigged out]
And the day you actually use any of the material, I'll be keeping an eye out for airborne swine.
no subject
you people are out to fuck with her head, aren't you]]
Perhaps I won't need the book. I fear I'm stuck here with three of the biggest jokes in Albion, anyway.
no subject
Oh, come now, my dear, you were doing so well.
no subject
it's terrifying]]
I can't please you forever, Reaver, as desperately as I'd like to.
[[....do you realise how much she's fighting to restrain a smile right now
do you realise this
what is going on]]
no subject
[...you really should have seen that one coming...]
no subject
You never give up, do you?! I admire your perseverance, at least!
