3RD REVOLUTION - [VIDEO/ACTION FOR ILEX FOREST]

[[The feed opens to the sight of an Umbreon sitting calmly in the grass, blinking softly as he looks into the camera. It isn't long, however, before the focus of the image is shifted, sliding away from the Umbreon and bringing into view a shivering Chikorita, lying on what appears to be a brown blanket. In actuality, it's Page's skirt, and said skirt-owner is currently on her knees, gently washing dirt from the Chikorita's pale skin. It's peppered with injuries; mainly scratches, but there's a rather nasty gash on its side that Page is trying to treat. Without pausing in her work, she addresses the feed.]]

Do any of you have any experience with Pokemon medicine or medical care? I found her underneath a tree this morning. I don't know what attacked her but she keeps dipping in and out of consciousness and I'm....worried.

[[As Page looks down at the Chikorita, her Gligar crawls up her back and pops over her shoulder, joining her in looking down at their unexpected guest. The Umbreon hasn't moved the entire time, instead flicking his eyes around the area. It never hurts to be cautious, especially when they're tripping over injured Pokemon. Page returns her gaze to the camera for one last plea for help.]]

There are a lot of berries around the place but I don't know if any will help break her fever. The guidebook doesn't really cover anything like that. If there's anyone out there that can offer advice, even a little, I'd really appreciate it.

[[With a final look down at the Chikorita, Page nods slightly, before moving to cut the feed.]]

Thank you for listening.

Try a potion. It should help close the wound and deal with any infection.

[Of course, it's a whole other story if it's poison, but it doesn't look that way from here. Then again that Chikorita is a whole lot smaller than she is. Might have taken hold a lot quicker.]

[Frown. That really doesn't sound like poison. The poison she knows lets wounds close, but it just...does things to your insides. A potion should have closed that gash anyway.]

It may be your only option. The nurses are trained to deal with this kind of thing, and they have a lot of resources that trainers don't. They should at least know what'll work.

[Though the distance is a factor, and probably a deciding one. This could get ugly.]

[Lightning cants her head to the side, a pensive look in her eyes. Has Page not been told this yet? It seems that way.]

They can't die, Page. No one can. Not in this world.

[Come extremely close? Yes. Be extremely uncomfortable and injured? Yes. But actual death? Not that she's ever seen, and she's seen a lot here.

Or at least, enough that the sudden change in topic doesn't surprise her. Have a nod.]

The city was attacked a couple of weeks ago. Team Rocket tried to burn down Sprout Tower with the monks still inside.

[Tried and mostly succeeded. The tower would need new paint, that was for sure.]

Considering they can blow themselves up without dying, I'm pretty sure it applies to them, too. A gash is nothing in comparison, so long as you stop the bleeding.

[Eh, give it a couple years. She'll adjust. Hopefully.

And whoa there, lady. Settle down. You missed the fire by almost three weeks. No need to get excited. She's going to have to wait a moment while Lightning puts up a filter, anyway.]

They were when I left town the next day. Unfortunately, so was the one behind the attack. [frown. Not pleased about that, obviously.] He got away before we could catch him. Teleported right out.

[...well, that's...new, but completely unsurprising, really. Reaver supposes he should have expected this sort of bleeding-heart thing to come from Page eventually; he manages to keep from eyerolling at it long enough to respond, at least.]

And is that one of yours that you lost track of temporarily, or is it literally something you found while wandering through the wilderness this morning?

...in other words, you definitely just found it.

Hopefully you weren't so caught up in the throes of compassion and empathy that it didn't occur to you to use proper medicine on it - Potions exist for a reason, you know.

And I'm assuming that letting nature run its course is completely and utterly out of the question.

[This is a serious situation and Apollo has his serious face on. He's rummaging around off-screen with the hand that's not holding the gear.]

None of the berries are good for fever, but feeding her Oran Berries [He holds up a blue berry.] and Sitrus Berries [He holds up a yellow berry.] should work on that wound if you don't have any Potions. I'm not sure if she can eat like that though.

For the fever, look for flowers like this one [He holds up a flower. The mun doesn't know what PokéWorld herbalism is like so I'll just wing this and pretend that Apollo's getting this all right because he knows stuff like this]. They seem to be pretty common. If you have something to boil water in you should tear up the petals and let them sit in the hot water for a while, then have her drink the water. If you don't then chew the petals up with a lot of spit and feed it to her in little pieces at a time. You'll need to give her more that way though. It won't heal her fever completely but it will help. I've only had to give it to Pokémon with mild fevers before so I'm not sure how much of a difference it will make on a strong fever like that, but it should do something at least.

[If I didn't know better I'd say that this post was aimed specifically at him.

Don't mind that you're getting medical advice from a 13-year-old, Page. He knows what he's doing, even if most people wouldn't consider it "medicine" per se.]

I hope it works.

Most people here seem to only think to go to the PokéCenters or use the Potions and things from the stores, but sometimes you can't get to them quickly, and if you only know how to use Potions for healing while you're traveling you'll need a lot of money.

It's the only way to treat wounds and sickness that I knew about before coming here. After I came here I've been trying to learn about the different plants here and which ones work for Pokémon and which ones work for humans.

[...Okay, that's kind of adorable for some reason.]

That's certainly one way to describe it. Goldenrod is like nothing I've ever seen before. It's much larger than Bowerstone and incredibly easy to get lost in.

[And without the light trail, his sense of direction is horrible.]

There are all sorts of things to see there and Goldenrod has the largest Pokémart of all the cities I've been in. It can be a bit overwhelming, however.

[A short pause. That's not what's important right now.]

Do you have any idea what happened to that Pokémon? You found it in the Ilex Forest, correct? I don't recall any other Pokémon in the area that could have caused an injury like that.

[Then again, he doesn't remember much of what happened in the forest since there were a lot of ghosts and he's pretty sure Reaver managed to drag him through the place in record time.]

I'm sure the nurses will be able to heal her properly. It's a shame that something like that happened to her in the first place.

[Though at the remark about the department store, Logan rolls his eyes. Though he's linefacing pretty hard, he sounds slightly amused.]

You just had to bring that up, didn't you? I told him it wouldn't work.
