3RD REVOLUTION - [VIDEO/ACTION FOR ILEX FOREST]
[[The feed opens to the sight of an Umbreon sitting calmly in the grass, blinking softly as he looks into the camera. It isn't long, however, before the focus of the image is shifted, sliding away from the Umbreon and bringing into view a shivering Chikorita, lying on what appears to be a brown blanket. In actuality, it's Page's skirt, and said skirt-owner is currently on her knees, gently washing dirt from the Chikorita's pale skin. It's peppered with injuries; mainly scratches, but there's a rather nasty gash on its side that Page is trying to treat. Without pausing in her work, she addresses the feed.]]
Do any of you have any experience with Pokemon medicine or medical care? I found her underneath a tree this morning. I don't know what attacked her but she keeps dipping in and out of consciousness and I'm....worried.
[[As Page looks down at the Chikorita, her Gligar crawls up her back and pops over her shoulder, joining her in looking down at their unexpected guest. The Umbreon hasn't moved the entire time, instead flicking his eyes around the area. It never hurts to be cautious, especially when they're tripping over injured Pokemon. Page returns her gaze to the camera for one last plea for help.]]
There are a lot of berries around the place but I don't know if any will help break her fever. The guidebook doesn't really cover anything like that. If there's anyone out there that can offer advice, even a little, I'd really appreciate it.
[[With a final look down at the Chikorita, Page nods slightly, before moving to cut the feed.]]
Thank you for listening.

They can't die, Page. No one can. Not in this world.
[Come extremely close? Yes. Be extremely uncomfortable and injured? Yes. But actual death? Not that she's ever seen, and she's seen a lot here.
Or at least, enough that the sudden change in topic doesn't surprise her. Have a nod.]
The city was attacked a couple of weeks ago. Team Rocket tried to burn down Sprout Tower with the monks still inside.
[Tried and mostly succeeded. The tower would need new paint, that was for sure.]
[[....she is never going to get used to this place
Also, that little comment about what Team Rocket tried to do to the monks seems to force a change in Page; all of a sudden, she's momentarily forgotten about the Chikorita and lunged forward, grabbing the Gear in desperation.]]
What?! Are they alright?!
[Eh, give it a couple years. She'll adjust. Hopefully.
And whoa there, lady. Settle down. You missed the fire by almost three weeks. No need to get excited. She's going to have to wait a moment while Lightning puts up a filter, anyway.]
They were when I left town the next day. Unfortunately, so was the one behind the attack. [frown. Not pleased about that, obviously.] He got away before we could catch him. Teleported right out.
[[Sorry about that little reaction, Lightning, but that whole 'burning down a monastery to kill all the monks inside' hit a little close to home.
She was the only survivor of such an attack in her youth, after all.]]
And we know it was definitely Team Rocket? I should be watching this...feed more closely, I...
[[.....allow her a small moment of self-hatred there, don't mind her]]
We know for sure. He was wearing their uniform. [shrug.] Besides, no one else would have a reason to do something like that. The monks tend to keep to themselves, so it's not like they'd have any enemies.
[And it isn't as if there's other teams around here. Rocket is the major threat.]
I just don't see the purpose of such an attack! The Sprout Tower monks are harmless, why would they....!!
Is this what Team Rocket does? Just....pointless attacks on innocent people?
Mostly, but I doubt they're pointless. They have some kind of purpose. Power, or to rule the people here by fear. [she looks aside, an oddly distant look in her eyes. She knows how this goes...] It's hard to say for sure. They could be doing it just because they can.
[[Oh don't worry; Page is all too aware of just how tyrants go about suppressing their people through fear. Apparently she just can't escape it.]]
Do we have any leads at all? I just.....it would be wonderful to be able to strike back.
[On the plus side, Lightning doesn't have to explain tyrants and their...issues. She'll take what she can get to avoid dredging up bad memories.]
We have one lead, but it'll take time to get anywhere with it. Rushing into things without a plan is the fastest way to end up out of our league.
our pasts
they really suck, don't they]]
...I know. It's just....a very tempting thought.
Are you in Goldenrod at all?
You're not the only one who thinks that way. I've had to talk a couple people out of charging their doors more than once.
[For all that that's worth, at least it's something. Strength in numbers, right?]
I'm on my way there now. Why?
[Doesn't mention she won't be staying long. Whoops.]
[[Is this the part where she says you can give her something to do if you want
or something
god she feels aimless in this place]]
I suppose I'll keep an eye out for Team Rocket; I have to say, I didn't realize they were...quite so dangerous.
Stay away from the Radio Tower while you're there, then. That's their base of operations in Goldenrod, and knocking down the door's the fastest way to get you into trouble with them.
[Head down, mouth shut. That kinda thing. Hopefully Page isn't the extremely reckless type.]
funny story from home actually
she totally didn't rush right into the mansion belonging to Reaver, a very dangerous man, in an attempt to rescue her men, who hadn't...returned from the same place...
right into was fairly obviously a complete trap....
ending up lucky to survive....
she's definitely not rash though]]
The Radio Tower, you say? I'll probably have a look at it, but I won't go inside.
[[that is probably the best you're going to get, Lightning
at least she's telling the truth?]]
Good to know. We've got no idea about their numbers in there, but I'm sure they outnumber us. One person going in there is suicidal.
[So don't do anything stupid, that's what she's saying. The fact that Page is telling the truth is a very good thing, though! ...Granted Lightning doesn't know that she is and so she's not sure about this. Not sure at all.]
...orz...]]
I promise you, I would never do anything that could put the PGC in danger. You have my word.
[[You can't be blamed for not being sure, but Page will keep her word. She wants to be taken seriously as a member of the PGC, after all.]]
I'll hold you to that. We don't need to tip our hand until the plan and everyone else is ready.
[Keeping her word would go a very long way to proving herself as a serious member, that's for sure. And it would certainly earn her Lightning's appreciation and semi-respect. After a while. A long while. She's off to a good start, though!]
