2ND REVOLUTION - [VIDEO/ACTION FOR VIOLET CITY]
[[Today is a fairly pleasant day in Violet City, so Page has taken advantage of the good weather to head outside and train her Pokemon a little. She's found, however, that over the past few weeks she's developed a few questions that she can't seem to find good answers for, so she's decided to....well, ask the 'feed', as it were. It took her a little while to work up the courage and to remind herself that she's not a wanted criminal here, but even so, it's....well. Slightly uncomfortable, but if this is how people communicate in this place, she'd better get used to it.
She's standing in an area on the outskirts of the city, the rustic buildings of Violet City in the background. The camera is surprisingly steady, obviously being held by one of her larger Pokemon.]]
I was wondering if any of you would be able to help me with my query.
[[When she speaks, her eyes find the camera, but once she's finished she immediately looks to the side, obviously not that comfortable with the whole experience. She's used to giving speeches; rather good speeches! But she's also used to have a tangible audience, so the fact that all she has to focus on is...well, her Gear, is bemusing her somewhat. But she'll get used to it. She's gotten used to worse.]]
Do any of you have experience with raising one of these?

[[Almost on cue, an Eevee scampers up her body and sits on her shoulder, staring into the camera with serious eyes matching those of his trainer.]]
I've done a bit of research and found that he can evolve into one of seven different things; which did you choose? What was the reason? Was it worth it, or do you regret your choice? I've heard evolution is irreversible, so I want to make sure my decision is the right one.
[[Another slightly awkward look to the side, before she faces the camera once more and nods her head slightly.]]
I appreciate your time. Thank you.
[[With a look to the Pokemon holding the camera, the feed is cut.]]

You're better off letting him decide. The Goldenrod Department store sells the stones they need to evolve, so taking him there may give you some idea of what he wants.
[[....what the bloody hell is a department store
-regardless, Page nods, mentally noting to make her way to Goldenrod as quickly as possible.]]
Right. I'll be sure to look into that. I'd intended to let him decide anyway, but it's always good to try to gather all the facts before making a decision.
Have you ever trained any?
One, but she was pretty determined to evolve into something specific without needing any help deciding. [shrug.] Don't be surprised if yours ends up the same way; they can be pretty stubborn about things like this.
[[Let her give him a bit of a scratch behind the ears.]]
By the way, Lightning...you're still in Goldenrod City, aren't you?
[Or it shouldn't, anyway. ...even if he may end up throwing fireballs at people he doesn't like if he chooses to evolve into a Flareon.]
No. My partner and I moved on towards Azalea about ten days ago. It was too last minute to tell anyone. [Which is why there was no warning. She's not dodging Page so much as helping her brother dodge a gym leader with a crush.]
Azalea Town? I'm on my way there as we speak.
[[As much as she loves Violet City, it's time for a bit of a change. She's never had the chance to have her own little adventure, after all.]]
I don't suppose you'd be available to meet up, at all? I'm still interested in what you proposed to me a little while ago.
I might be. Are you coming through Union Cave or the Ilex Forest?
[Can they keep moving or should she tell Hope to wait a bit? It all depends on Page's next move, really.]
[[She's actually kind of looking forward to it; cold? Dark? Damp? Just like home!]]
Is that the direction you're taking?
[Though only because she doesn't know yet. She and Hope can handle themselves if it comes to a fight.]
[[How convenient! If she didn't know better she'd say things were actually going right for her. For once.]]
Perhaps meeting in the cave could be good, anyway; little chance of being overheard.
[Or pass each other on the way through. That's also a possibility that Lightning's lived through before. It sucks.]
But the only thing in there is the Pokemon, so long as we aren't followed. I can think of worse places to have a conversation like that.
[[That is, if he doesn't decide to take a nap. Dozy blighter, that one.]]
Feel free to call me whenever it's most convenient; I don't sleep much.
[Because her team isn't exactly the definition of "stealth", as it were. She's still working on them.]
I'll remember that. [a short pause, then:] If I don't see you in Azalea before we leave, I'll give you a call.
[[And let her just cut the feed, then! It's nice to talk in a way that reminds her of work; it's a bit less awkward, anyway.]]
